My Three
Pillars of
Therapy

  • I try to bring compassion to every therapy practice. When we practice compassion, we help others feel valued and understood. This can lead to healing and personal growth, making the world a kinder place for everyone.

    Key Parts of Compassion

    1. Listening: Really paying attention when someone talks about their feelings.

    2. Understanding: Trying to see things from their point of view, like imagining how they feel.

    3. Caring: Showing kindness through words or actions, like giving support or encouragement.

  • In my therapy sessions I will always try to foster unconditional positive self-regard.

This means loving and accepting yourself no matter what. It’s like being your own best friend. Even if you make mistakes or feel lost, you still think you are good and important. You treat yourself kindly and believe you are worthy of love, just like everyone else.

  • I try to creat a non-judgemental place for you as a client. When we practice non-judgment, we create a safe space for others. This helps people feel comfortable sharing their true selves without fear of being criticized. It encourages open communication and builds stronger relationships.

    What It Means to Me

    1. Listening Without Criticism: When someone shares their thoughts or feelings, you listen without saying or making the assumption that they’re wrong or silly.

    2. Being Open: You accept that everyone has different experiences and feelings. Differences should be embraced.

    3. Staying Kind: I focus on building understanding and trust and offering support.

About me

I am originally from Germany and made my way to Ireland via South Africa. I have worked with many families and children in SA and Ireland over the last 30 years, coming from a holistic Steiner School teaching background. As a therapist I use a variety of different therapy styles to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I am here first and foremost to listen, and be of support to you in whatever you might be experiencing right now. I want you to feel heard, and to know that you are not alone.

As a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
(IACP, M13982), I am committed to ethical, professional, and accountable practice.
My work is insured, Garda vetted, and adheres to the highest standards of care.

My Values

I believe that successful therapy is based on a strong therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. We must both have the interest and motivation to learn.

I believe that people should be together. We are not meant to be alone and struggle. It’s better when we help each other and grow together.

My wish is to find out what life holds for you, despite what life has done to you. So that you can take greater command of your life.
